PM Imran Khan salutes Yasir Shah over outstanding execution

Head administrator Imran Khan on Friday saluted cricketer Yasir Shah for breaking 82-year old record to end up the quickest bowler to achieve the 200 test wickets in 33 matches.

"A week ago he had equalled my record of 14 wickets in a test coordinate. Excellent execution," the PM said in a tweet.

Congrats to Yasir Shah who broke a multi year old record held by an Australian and turned into the quickest bowler to achieve the 200 test wickets' achievement in only 33 matches. A week ago he had equalled my record of 14 wickets in a test coordinate. Outstanding execution.

Shah turned into the quickest cricketer to step through 200 Exam wickets on Thursday, breaking a 82-year-old record and putting Pakistan inside sight of an arrangement win in the third and last Test against New Zealand.

The 32-year-old caught nightwatchman Will Somerville leg before for four - his second wicket of New Zealand's second innings - to achieve the achievement in his 33rd Test, beating Australian leg-spinner Clarrie Grimmett's record of 36 Tests set against South Africa in Johannesburg in 1936.

Yasir's strike left New Zealand battling to spare both the match in Abu Dhabi, and the arrangement - right now tied at 1-1 - as they achieved 112-4 at lunch on the fourth day.
